Looks like it should be on the cover of a magazine!
Best thing I like about the background is...........there isn`t one! :toast:

A lovely bird in a classic pose against a completely clear background bringing all the emphasis onto the subject. Perhaps a small amount of fill flash may have lifted the shadow area but that is a very minor nit. :toast:

Very nice Bob, with all the right bits sharp. I think I'd prefer an oof bg, but you obviously work with what you've got!
