A friend asked me what do i take with me to do photography when out and about, which got me thinking...
So, you have a camera (and lenses), compactflash cards, tripod/monopod. But what else do you think YOU need for wildlife photography?
My 2 for this is a bottle of water and a bird book.

Hi Paul,
A good question, I guess waterproof clothing to make lying down in the mud and wet that bit more bearable.

Justin said: "...marmite sandwiches..."
I take it they're for attracting badgers and squirrels, you surely wouldn't eat them yourself
For me: small binocs, warm/waterproof clothing, water, food and a big plastic bag to sit on or lie on for low level photography.

Funny the things you learn on a forum... Justin has a marmite fetish and Paul T brings a pack of sherpas when going shooting

Amazing, I've not had a Marmite sandwich in years and after reading this I've just had to go downstairs for a round of Marmite & toast
