Folks, I am really starting to jones for some warmer and greener seasons. I took a cue from Todd and dug this one out of the vault. This was taken on Independence Day several years ago. I posted it over on the ES&S gallery as well, but wanted to share it with you guys here as well.

Very nice, Doug. I like the clouds! I'm ready for summer too!

Wow, where's that?

Bring on the spring and all the wildflowers! I've got some lupines blooming in my front yard right now, though I think the recent snow confused some of them. Nice photo, Doug.

Nice image, Doug!

After this winter, I think I may appreciate summer a little more (or, more accurately, loathe it a little less), but I'm not ready for winter to end just yet. I could do without the traffic snarls and windshield scraping, but this has been the first good winter I've experienced in Colorado since moving here 11 years ago. There was that great blizzard a few years back, but it melted away pretty quickly. This winter reminded me of those ones we had back east when I was little - snow forts, cancelled school, frozen extremities!

I won't dread the onset of summer this year, but I sure won't complain if it doesn't get here until about a week before fall!
