Little Egrets at Dusk
You either like this slightly more artisitic style of shot or you don't - it's an area I'm trying to develop within my portfolio at the moment as it appeals to a different market.

These were taken last week near Holkham in Norfolk as they flew in to roost. I'd initially gone for some silhouette pics but everything was flying in too low so saw this opportunity as an alternative.

Very Art Morris, I quite like it nice artistic feel, shame about the gap in the middle of the birds you should have a word with them about their flight formation

You're right - they could do with some red Arrows training!! I had thought about copying one into that space but decided that it wouldn't be being true to myself or the experience.

I quite like it.

The egrets are clearly recognisable yet there is some nice blurring off the wings

Hi Mark
I like the birds but that orange streak across the picture I do not like. Sorry

Hi,
I agree with John on the red streak: it looks like traffic trails!
Otherwise, I like the picture very much. Definitely a style worth persuing.

Agree with the previous comments but a nice effort at some arty stuff :toast:

I applaud the idea and the execution, and I like everything about it with the exception of those streaks I'm afraid.
