Beautiful pose and perfect colours. I wondered if a touch less USM would be beneficial - is there a bit of a halo along the back?.....or is it just me?
Was thinking of going to Allerthorpe tomorrow but don't think I will now as you drew a blank.

Yes it is a nice pose and colours look good. Whites are a bit blown, but that maybe processing. Looks like the focal plane is slightly in front of the subject? Maybe a bit of selective USM would help? :toast:

Lovely pose and colours. BUT, appears to me to have been over processed? probably a bit too much of the shadow tool as I can see a halo around the branch & the Chaffinch.

Looks a little odd to me too, and not quite as sharp as you would expect with your lens. However, composition is nice and the background colours work well.
