Snipe out in the open
Took this one a short while back. Managed to get a shot as he took a breather for a second whilst running between the pond's banks. I've tried various crops and felt it looked best with the snipe centered.

Canon 300 f/2.8L IS with 2x on 30D, f/5.6, 1/800. Bean bag support. RAW, levels adjust, slight crop and usm.

Thanks.

Nice Shot, nearly as good as few I got with the 12 gauge in my hunting days down under, so I'm well aware of the difficulty of finding them in the open.
Great Reflection, nice n sharp,
Charles

Good of you to catch it in the open Paul. I assume it's taken from a hide? The relection is good and colours are pleasing.

Thanks Charles, Rob. Yes it was from a hide.
