Eldorado Canyon water
I guess I've recovered, 'cause I'm back to taking pictures in State Parks.

This is from last weekend at Eldorado Canyon - a little cascade near to the shore of the river.

I think the shutter speed is stuck on in between. It is slow enough to be silky smooth, but isn't short enough to really show the turbulence in the water. I think it needs to go one way or the other.

Hmm. I've got a number of exposures of this little cascade; I think a blended image is the only potential savior for your suggestion. Showing the turbulence requires (much) higher speed, but that kills off the waterfall silkiness.

Thanks for the feedback.

Exposure is good. Might be a little too tightly cropped?

Exposure is good because it's tightly cropped... I have a series of exposures that I'm looking to turn into an HDR or blended image, but I don't have time to process them now. The Sun was well and truly out and reflecting against an upper cascade and some snow patches just out of the range of this shot. Maybe Tuesday I'll post the blended image - assuming I'm not busy drooling over some spectacular shot I take this weekend.
