Well, I'm still trying to get some decent flight shots with the 400mm DO IS lens. This is one of the better ones I've managed recently and I do like the boring old ducks as they fly by.

There's nothing boring about this old duck.

The light is great and shows off the colours and feather detail so well.

Is there just a very slight halo around it, perhaps from the sharpening. Its not much.

A very nice capture. :toast:

Excellent filght shot Rob. Slightly tight for me personally, but hsowing really good detail and sharpness. I too see a slight halo, but it's less than some shots I've seen posted here, and nobody has mentioned it as a nit  It's very minor for me

Nice colours and lovely light make even a boring old duck look good when well captured like this. :toast:
