I am going to be travelling with film in the next week and was seeking some advice how to package my film. I want to have the film hand checked so I plan on putting it into Ziplock type of bags. I will be using 120 film. Do I need to remove each individual roll from it's sealed foil for inspection, or can I leave each roll sealed, but out of it's box? I don't want to end up at security having to remove 100 rolls of foil from the film. Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks harry

I don't have any experience with foil pouches, nor have I ever heard of a TSA policy regarding them. But given that they require you to take 35mm film out of Fuji's see-through cannisters, I'd be very surprised if they allow 120 film to remain in foil.

Cliff, I think you are right. I guess I'll remove the foil and be safe. Thanks for your feedback.
Once the foil is removed from the 120 roll you may run the risk of fogging. If you are going to remove the foil, I'd suggest placing the rolls in a light-tight bag. If the rolls are removed from the bag, try to do so in subdued light.
