When I opened up this forum this morning, only a few posts were visible and there was a message saying:
"Software Error: “Invalid local time for date in time zone: America/New_York”.
Any post that was made before the switch to daylight savings time was gone; as new posts were made this morning, I could see those. Same thing on the main NPN forum, although it seems like all of the others are fine.
I've temporarily switched the time zone listed in my preferences (See green bar near top for link) to Eastern time, and that fixed it. I have a message into Jim.
I tried it on NS8 (rendered as firefox) and also on IE7. Maybe I missed a patch for IE...?

I am seeing this same error in both IE 6 and Firefox 2.

I'm getting the error as well. I use IE6.

I'm seeing that error on Firefox 1.0.7 running on Linux. It works fine with Opera 7.54 also on Linux.

Ok,
It looks like it is fixed now in IE and FF. It was probably a host server issue.

It still is not fixed, I use Safari on a Mac, the messages are back up on the main page but when I went to the post from Jon about Wranglers the software error message is still at the bottom of the page and you can not post replies.
Nope - still not fixed. Jim is looking into it. In the meantime, if you set your timezone to EST in your preferences, you'll see all the messages. The times will be off, but it's a temporary fix...

Not seeing it at all on Firefox 2.

No problem on Firefox 1.5.0.10
Haven't checked on Firefox 2.X? yet, but will when I get home. I suspect you just need a firefox update.
