Yesterday I found Marc Adamus in my mailbox on the cover of Popular Photography and Imaging plus the two page spread of his first place image of Crater Lake. Congrats Marc, :toast: :toast:

Hey, thanks Jerry. Watch for my spread in OP next month also.

Funny thing yesterday. I got an email from the Park Ranger who had issued me the permit to backpack around the Crater Rim 15 months ago. I was really surprised he remembered me at all. I guess they don't issue that many solo-hiker winter permits for 4 nights. He saw the image and asked if my trip back in Jan, 06' had been where I had taken it.

Congrats, Marc. You deserve the accolades for the hard work (winter hiking & camping) you go thru to get your pics. I think you may well surpass Galen Rowell's work.

I just got back into town and saw my issue of Pop Photo sitting on the counter, and thought 'man that photo on the cover looks familiar'.. Congratulations Marc, I'll be looking for your OP spread next month.

I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I think Marc is one of the most talented and driven photographers in the world. I too am excited to watch your career. I'm not surprised in the least that you landed such amazing spreads in some of the top photo mags out there. Congratulations, you deserve it big time. :toast: :toast: :toast:

I'll echo in here with big congrats, Marc. Very excited to watch your career continue to blossom so I can tell everybody I knew you when...... :toast:
