Hey now, this ain't no kind of good photo or anything but I just wanted to post it as an example of what the new Photoshop Photomerge can do. I just stood there and banged off five photos, overlapping about a third with the camera set to Auto. After that I merely opened them in PS3 and did a photo merge.
The only think I can see is that the sky is not exactly correct. There is a slight lightening and darkening where the photo start and end.

I'm just posting this so that it may plant an idea in your head and maybe you'll come across a scene where using it would be real creative and would really pay off.

I agree Mark, the CS3 photo merge is pretty darn good.

I used the CS3 photo merge for this Portland cityscape image. It was made with 5 shots. It isn't a premium citiscape, but I was very happy with the merge. I printed a 12x36 on my 3800 and the stiches are invisible and the printed image has enough detail that you can see the furniture, hallways and doors through the windows of the office buildings.

YEP, they both look great. I'm just thinking about how goofy I feel since I bought PTgui about 2 months ago.

Well, it's great for end to end photos but I don't think it can do a matrix of photos. I haven't tried yet though.
