Death Valley National Park badlands at sunset. After hiking for hours around remote stretches of badlands, I decided that the best place to catch the moonrise was a whole 1/4 mile from my car....figures. Anyway, I didn't think much of this one at first, but it's really growing on me. Let me know what you think!
The moon seems a bit to centered for me, and while I find the layers interesting, nothing really grabs my attention. It is wonderufl lanscape and color, and the exposure is spot on. It is a pleasing image overall.

I really like it. The color and scene is enough to draw one in even without any mind blowing composition. Just for the sake of making this comment useful, I think the second layer from the bottom should be a tad brighter to separate it from the lowest layer. Also, the haze has tinged the furthest of the furthest layer a tad bit blue in the upper right corner, but I think that might be a good thing.

The layers, to me, by far make up for the centered moon. Fun shot.

I love this, Marc.... Finding layers like this and then getting the moon to show up on cue is really special. Beautiful tonality here also.

I dig it Marc!

Thumbs up from me. Must have been quite the experience to stand and watch this scene unfold.

I would put the moon more toward the right to balance the image more, now it is too centered IMHO.
I really like it. Great lines - looks like nature's stock market graph or something - and the color is fantastic. I am nagged a tiny bit about the flatness of the image, which I have a hard time comprehending since the layering works so well - it just lacks depth I think. The moon I think really makes the shot.
