Looking Back.....
over the past year since I joined, I have seen some incredible photos on here...I have learned a lot from each of you who comment on my images. Although nature does not always give us optimal conditions to shoot in, I think we, for the most part, make the best of what we have to work with.

This was one of my faves from a road trip I took in the spring of 2006 in Northwest Washington.

as I was driving about 70+ mph down this long country road I came out of a curve and slammed on the breaks as this scene appeared before my eyes.

as I was going back through some images of the past year I just keep going back to this one and was wondering what you all think of it...

Thanks in advance for the comments and critiques

Darren

It's a nice scene. I might crop a little of the blank blue sky out, but overall I find the image very pleasing.

Classic. Excellent stock photograph.

Gonna be brutally honest with ya, this does absolutely nothing for me. I feel its bland, lacks a good subject and just doesn't hold my interest. Maybe I'm just used to seeing these sort of scenes all up and down the I-5 corridor so I don't think twice about them, but I honestly can't see this being something worth stopping for in the NW. Like Marc said, good stock stuff, but not much else, imho.

Well, with sky, there's plenty of room for text...but as a hanger, crop it to a pano. That horse makes the pic...I like it Darren.

I'm with Rick. I just did a quick crop from the top and some from the bottom......it makes a difference. I like it.
