Amazing light, need a compact snow machine for me camera bag. How did you transport your photo gear John? Did you carry on your camera if so what bag did you use?

Great shot

Hi guys thanks for your comments.
Tim here is the story. Aberdeen airport I had my suitcase and a light weight Karrimor bag
inside it Allowance 20KG. I had a normal trolley case which had the right measurement for getting it onto the plane. Inside the trolley bag to start with was my 300mm 2.8 lens and 1DM2n camera 2 conv 1.4 2x 17-40 lens 24-80 lens. Put Laptop down trousers and 70-200
2.8 lens over shoulder. After I checked in I met my wife round the corner and I got my 500mm lens out of her bag. and I put it into my trolley bag. Once I cleared the Xray machines
I put my Laptop into the trolley bag and I reckon the total weight would be about 14 to 15 KG.
I then phoned my wife and told her that I had got through alright. Once left UK I just kept my fingers crossed. It takes the pleasure out of travelling now.

Another great species to have in the bag John. Also the snow makes a good reflector for fill light.
