I've been reworking a few pics from back in February. Much to my surprise, I find I have a lawn that needs tending, and that's taken time that would have otherwise been spent shooting.

This is outstanding, Tim! The tonal contrast between the snow and rocks, well, rocks. And I love the textural contrast between the blocky shapes in the fg with the soft contours in the bg. Very balanced comp too - excellent work!
BTW, I did all my "spring cleaning" a couple of weeks ago, but now the grass needs mowing...I feel your pain

Hi Tim, it sucks how responsibility keeps getting in the way of more serious endeavors! Yards aside, this image is nicely constructed yet it feels a little dominated by the dark foreground IMO. You've done a great job with the contrast between the snow and rocks (but on my monitor at least) I'm not seeing as much detail in the dark areas as I usually do in your images and as a result I'm not being drawn into the image ... does that make sense?
I don't know, maybe someone needs to slap me and wake me up after that 14 hour drive yesterday!
