Spotted this at a depth of 15m last year, nestling nicely on some loose kelp fronds. It was below a vertical cliff at the Skelly Hole, St. Abbs Head with guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes nesting. I assume it is a guillemot's egg but maybe somebody could give a definitive answer. It may have lost some colour with being in the water.

Hi jim
I would say it is a Kittiwakes egg which has faded in time. Definitely not the shape of the Auks. Any herring Gulls in the area?
