Hi folks, I live in Oregon and I have a 4-day weekend starting this friday. It's kind of a spur-of-the-moment trip. I'm going to Redwood NP, and I need some advise on where to go. Due to my trashed knees, I'm pretty much limited to "road hunting" at this point. I can probably get in a one mile round trip, but that's about it. Any advice you can give will be appreciated. I'm also willing to sleep in the truck if any of the camp grounds are open...
I am sorry to see that no one has responded to your query regarding Redwood NP. I have driven past that region on a couple of occasions (once while returning from Salem, OR) but didn't stop at the park so I don't have much to offer in terms of information. Most of our active CANP members don't live that far up north which may be why you didn't get any responses. I am sure we have some members from that vicintiy and I hope they can chime in soon. You might want to try posting this on the General Discussion Forum. Hopefully, there are NPN members who can assist you better.
Once again, sorry for not being more helpful.
Regards.

Thanks Anil. No worries. I had a great trip. I Relaxed and enjoyed the trees. Photographically I didn't return with anything outstanding, but I did get a few keepers, and I'll be returning again the first chance I get!
