A quick process of one of the images from yesterdays shoot with the BBC... I will find out if I have any reputation left on April 15th
It was very cold, very windy and very hard work, nothing was scripted or storyboarded with the director making things up as we went along, also it is very difficult trying to produce acceptable images with Jo Brand, and a film crew following you around.
The hardest part for me at least is that those that know me will be aware I am not normally an outgoing person, however although I will probably still not be able to watch Jo Brands stage act, she is a very nice, intelligent and family minded person, who helped me a lot on the day..
Well done. If your excellent posting is anything to go by, looks like you handled the moment very well. I bet it was difficult trying to do wildlife photography with a posse of people in tow!! It's hard enough on our own
I'll set the Sky+ for April 15th
Regards
Rob

Hi Phil - well done that man - April 15th is in my diary too
As a point of interest for me where was this switch photographed - I've seen a few of them on the TV and photos etc recently - they used to be shot as a matter of some urgency everywhere they occurred
but are certain parks & estates changing their attitude??
Anyway well done that man - Chris Packham had better watch out, he 'W'-eally had
All the best

Hi Phil
Looking forward to April 15th, will try to remember to watch CountryFile.
Busy hoping for a national blackout on the 15th now....
Andy,
Filming took place around the Pen Ponds area of Richmond Park, I wasn't sure whether this was a switch or poss a first year, I am more certain now that it is a switch, will get in touch with the park superintendant to find out their policies now.
P.S. I have it on good authority that Mr. Packham is living in France at the moment writing a book.....
All the best
Phil

Hehe, Nice shot Phil and congrats on the next step to superstardom , seriously though your images and efforts to get them deserve the recognition.
Lynne and I will make sure we catch that episode.
Where have I gone wrong? Doesn't seem that long ago we were on the 7Oaks swims shooting the Grebe family, now you're on TV and I'm knocking out 12 hour days as head of telecoms in a call centre and my gear is gathering dust - badly
Hi Phil,
Bit late replying to this one but pleased to hear it went well.
Very much looking forward to that episode,a reminder is firmly stuck above my PC.
Your renowned photo skills don`t seem to have let you down, despite the no-doubt-charming distractions of Jo Brand. Lovely shot, Phil.
Glad it all went well, and look forward to watching the programme (if I can get up in time on a Sunday morning).
(BTW, I appeared in one of Bill Oddie`s programmes, but I`m not saying which one!)
