You did well to get so close to a totally wild specimen with a 300mm. I love these frame filling shots

Great work how you got the emhasis on the eyes by using a low F-number! Like this a lot!

Love the eye's and the head area.
But i wish the f was at about f6.4 or 8, so the legs were in focus.
But i really like this as is anyway.
Very well done with the wild fox

A wild fox shot to be proud of Phillip:toast
He looks a bit sad or maybe a bit tired. The tight framing works really good IMO & at 300mm he must have been breathing down your neck lol. Great dof & at F4 too.

Hi Phillip - great shot - love it
I would agree over the Dof comments but from your techs you would have been shooting at 1/100th so I consider this a faultless capture under the circumstances - most well done sir
I gotta ask though - Renard looks like he's about to burst into tears - had the Custard Creams run out??
Best Regards
Andy

Hi Phillip
Really like the framing, face detail and pose - excellent shot with a 300mm. Have to agree, though, that a tad more dof and slightly sharper forelegs would transform the image. Greta shot though.
