Best Places for Moose shots in Alaska Kenai Peninsula

I am heading down that way to go to McNeil for 5 days but while I was driving to Homer from Anchorage, I want to take some bull moose shots. It will be early July. I also have a Kenai Fjords cruise planned while stopping in Seward. Is Portage Glacier worth the stop or will I see something better with Exit Glacier and on my Kenai Fjords cruise? Hope to see all kinds of whales, puffins and get some nice glacier shots on the cruise.

Any input about anything from Anchorage to Homer and back would be appreciated.
