Hey folks,
Since I haven't been able to det out and shoot lately, I've been going through some of my past shots. This one was taken last fall of Ramona Falls. I blended a light and dark shot and did some of my processing in LAB color. As for me, I'm hanging in there. My wife is keeping an updated blog of me so anyone interested can see how things are going. I debated weather I should post a link or not but heck, I hate to keep you all hanging. Here's the link if your interested. http://home.comcast.net/~elundh/

Thanks for the link Erik. I want to know how you're doing, but I hate asking because I know what it's like to have to answer the those kinds of questions over and over again. This way I can just go to the blog, and I don't have to pester you.
This is a beautiful blend! excellent tones and it's tack sharp.

Erik,
This is such an awesome image. Isn't this the one that got published in that book? Or was it another version?
This is sweet Erik. I can look at it all day. It's really "PNW" in my book.
BTW, Yes, thanks for the blog link. It was awesome (and very moving) to read, and I really appreciate the fact that you & Rosalie are sharing what you're going through. It's a real education for me, and I'm at a loss for words ....
Oh! Do I love this! Great pattern of repeating forms through an interplay of light and shadow. Even though it's the face of a cliff, it appears to have a lot of depth to it, to my eye.
Sorry you're not getting out to shoot, but you are finding treasure in the archives. Hope you keep posting 'em.
Hey Erik,"Cake Cures Cancer??!!" That's a hoot!!!!! Keep up the spirits and know that we are ALL beside you through this!!!

Thanks folks,
Rick, no this isn't the shot your refering to. I know Shots of Ramona Falls can look the same. The blend is what makes this different from the rest of the Shots I've taken of these falls. The dividing line between the mossy rocks and the water made it pretty easy. I realize mossy rock and stream shots aren't that original. I've worked this falls quite alot in the last three years and this is one of my favorites.

Just peeked in to PNWNP, Erik, and saw your post!
First off, that shot is a killer - I love it!! I remember when you first posted it (or one like it) and it still has the same positive effect on me when I look at it.
Second, I wish the best for you in this battle you are going through with the cancer. The blog your wife is writing is great and it will really help others in the same situation to know they are not alone in feeling the things they do. It helps us that cannot even begin to understand what you are going through personally to at least take the time to slow down from our busy lives and appreciate what we do have (and how much we have that isn't really important!).
Although I've interacted with you for several years on this forum I've never met you. I hope that'll change! Take care...
Hope you are looking forward to the day you and Rosalie can come down to Camarillo and stay with your twin, Henning and play some golf. Will look for some photography lessons down here in La Jolla, Love from your aunt Ragnhild (Lundh)
