I'm looking for a new SD card or two. Prices seem to really be dropping! So, where and what are the deals? Interested most in really fast ones, say 2-4 gb.

Kent - I don't know where the exact deals are, but there are websites that can help...I have used the following for various things in the past....and Buy.com and Amazon are good too.

Kent,

Newegg usually has good prices. They're very reliable, that's where I buy all my computer stuff.

Cheers,

I've bought from Newegg a lot too. They have always shipped quickly and I have never had a problem with them. When they have great prices and reduced shipping offers, they are hard to beat. Also, don't forget Amazon.com. Amazon has often been the cheapest source for me because some items ship free: super saver free shipping (I'm always willing to wait if it's free).

Good luck with your memory. What was your name again? Pete D.

Staples has the PNY SD cards on sale again (I've used PNY before and always been happy with them). The 1 GB are $19.95 and the 2 GB are $24.95

Turns out the best deal on a 2gb card that is fast (133x) was the Lexar from B&H. So, I ordered one. The non-photo places tended to have good deals on slower speed cards, but didn't stock the fast ones.
