Canon 1D Mark II
Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro
1/60 sec @ f/5.6 ISO 200

I found another hidden gem in my pile of images that I've been importing into Lightroom. Sure it's a bit tight but I think it still works. This was taken last year in Kubota Garden.

Lemme know what yall think!!

Rick, very nice...I love how the flower is looking at you!

I think to make this a bit stronger, I would crop some off the top and a little off the bottom....JMO! :toast:

Hi Rick,

Very nice macro work. The soft, even light is great and the DOF that just captures the top petals and pistle and stamen while the rest fades out is very nice.

I'm brand new to PNWNP and excited to start being a contributor. I just put up some info on the "Tell us about yourself" thread if anyone is wondering who the new guy is.

Rick,
Cool shot. Maybe a litle more dof under the middle part of the flower in the middle would be nice IMHO. Still nice work.

It's good Rick. How about putting it in the Flora forum? Been a lot of fun over there lately.

Nice one Rick. Your presentation makes the flower look delicate, appropriately.
