Husky Sangre Sunrise
Woke up real early to get to the Sangres for some sunrise shots on Monday. As i was setting up my tripod, a neighborhood dog came over and was being kind of a pest, keeping me from fussing with my camera, then crashing through all the thin ice on the lakeshore and spoiling the nice ice designs. Then, i had a 'doh' moment and realized the dog was a better subject than the sunrise, so took a bunch of dog photos!

If you go out to shoot thin lake ice one morning and Mother Nature is doing Siberian huskies that day, well, you'd better shoot Siberian huskies! (A very poorly paraphrased Dewitt Jones axiom. )
