The favorite pictures.

I beg a second help as an almost newcomer. I see that in the section of the personal Portfolios there is the chance of collecting in the own portfolio the photos more appreciated personally among the thousands posted. I have not found the same possibility in this Critique section. I miss something? I think that it is a very useful utility for not missing for ever the most beautiful pictures that appear and soon disappear in the site. The chance of keeping in the eyes and take inspirations from the great photos should be one of the most important reasons for sharing in the web galleries. In any case the pictures don't go out NP.

Gigi - I believe that the "Flag Photo" option essentially does this. If you look in the grey colored bar below the image you'll find it. Then in darker grey bar near the top there is a "FLAGGED" link to take you to the photos you have flagged. The only difference here from the portfolios is that photos here will dissappear after some time unless they've won the editors pick.

I think I know what you mean. It would amount to a personal editors pick collection. I guess this would result in a lot of image storage because everyone's favorites could be different. That would be a burden on the server. I imagine that is also the reason images (except EPs) scroll off the site. All you have to do it become an moderator and you can influence the EPs!

Thanks David and Pete. The flag link is what I was looking for even if I will again loose my favorites images only somewhat later. I hoped in something like My Favorites in the Portolios section but I can't ask the moon and even more I can't become a moderator.
