Clifton Gorge Wildflowers
400D, Canon 300mm f4 + 1.4TC + 12mm extension, 1/125, f11, ambient light, handheld

I spent the afternoon yesterday hiking Clifton Gorge. It's about peak wildflower time there....Bloodroot, Hepatica, and Dutchman's Breeches seemed to be predominant with several others getting ready to bllom. Here's a Dutchman's Breeches.

Very nice Terri, you should post some of your wildflower images on the floral forum, I have been burning up the wildflower images one of the best years for flowers here in southern indiana in a long time. Nice briches, they are one of my favorite wildflowers. :wavey:

Terri,

let me guess---handeld? For those of you who do not know Terri, I've never seen anyone get tripod results, hand holding like Terri!.

I really love the lighting on the petals.

Jack....of course! But the image stabilization is the key.....and the bruises I collect from wedging myself in the rocks at the gorge.

And to add on Jack's comment, Terri doesn't use short focal lengths either!

We are all duly impressed with her abilities, both in technique and in art.
