Red Trilliums
I was in central Kentucky today so I thought I'd drop by the John B. Stephenson Memorial Forest SNP near Berea, Kentucky. I had read that the spring wildflowers where not to be missed, they weren't kidding

For those interested, I was in Berea today submitting 5 pieces of work. I am trying to join the Kentucky Guild of Artist and Craftsmen. A statewide guild that has been around since the 60's. It is a juried process and the jury meets April 14, hopefully I find out soon after.

Pretty shot! I've never actually seen the red ones. Good luck with the Kentucky Guild!

Good luck with your submission!

Very nice-these are hard because of their downward facing blooms. Best of luck in the submission!
Alice,
South Mtns. State Park trail to High Shoals Falls is covered in these.
