Wood Poppy

Went into Clifty Falls State Park yesterday morning and got caught in a strong storm, very heavy rain and wind, set under a rock shelter for over an hour. When the storm subsided I went out to a wonderland of wildflowers, one of the best days I have had as a photographer. Took many images will post some over the next few days here and on the floral forum Some of these flowers I had no id of until I got home and could look them up, this wood poppy being one. This is beautiful, Bernie. While it's a tad dark, the poppy stands out due to the darkness. I like the position of the flower and I love the "dead" one in the BG. Good detail also...
