Went up on Saturday for the first time. Very nice place and tons of birds to 'shoot'. There were thousands of Canadian geese. We also saw many grebes, some shovelers, as well as a few heron, snow geese, ospreys, and eagles. There were even hundreds of carp congregating in the canal trying to reach the warm waters coming through the overflow of the swamp.
Looks like a great start to spring! I really like the fourth carp image...great action, energy and compositon! Thanks for sharing!

I really like your gallery, Jennifer. I'm a big fan of waterfalls too, yours are great. Never been to the Finger Lakes but I hear (and see!) they are beautiful. I just moved to Connecticut from Ohio, so I'm looking forward to shooting the many falls in New England.
Hi Jim, thank you very much. It "was" (past tense) a very nice start to spring. Now it's back to winter...less the 30F (15 with wind) and snow flurries. Crazy weather.
Hi Philip, thanks a bunch! Waterfalls are "my thing". I just love them and doubt I could ever tire of them. I am lucky enough to live in an area where there are tons of them. You have some wonderful shots in your gallery as well. Are they all in Ohio? Where in CT are you now? I get down there on occasion. You'll love fall in New England. Almost no place better.
