This little Rufous Hummingbird has been around the backyard a about week now...will likely be headed for the Pacific Northwest before too long. Canon 20D, 300mm F/2.8 IS Lens with 1.4 Tele-extender and fill flash from monopod.

Nice capture. everything seems to placed perfectly. But where is the green, its spring time already. :smile:

Very nice capture Richard! Good sharpness and detail where needed positioned against a beautifully blurred b/g. I like this image a lot but there may be an even stronger image here with just a little off the left & top. Well done! :toast:

Great job, Richard! Excellent detail, but I might like to have seen some catch light in this handsome guy's eye. Thanks for sharing!
