Hi all, I'm in need of an impartial general critique of my photos before I start contributing to this forum. I'm not the most accomplished photographer in the world, so dont expect miracles. Any constructive criticism or general tips greatly appreciated. Please check out http://www.acelink-photography.co.uk/ if you get the time.
I agree with Phil, navigation etc nice and easy and some nice images (like the badger/moon composition), only thing I didn't really like was the big white copyright all over the images...
Cheers

Hello Steve, ditto what Mark said about the white copyright text!
Sorry about the white copyright, those shots were put up in a hurry and it is a little obtrusive. Please ignore this if you can for the moment. Really I'm more interested in your general opinion of the quality of the shots so I'll see what I can do about removing the copyright message (or making it a little less "in your face").
I think it's very hard to critique images that are so small. 400px on the longest side is hard to make any recommendations or advice on. Just post your images on the forums and let them ride the critique...it's a good way of learning. What you see may be different to everyone else..ie colours, contrast, sharpening...
The site is nice, agree with the others on copyright text and size of images though. I use 875 pixels across on landscape shots on my website which I find a good compromise.

I found it an interesting site with good images and easy to navigate. I particularly like your badger images.
Best wishes
