Just another blah Day At The Office
I was up and out today and planned on shooting Moonset over the Peak, but I didn't get to my spot in time so i moved on to a whole other subject.

I like the first cascade shot because it has a little bit of personality to the way it's composed. The second one looks too simplistic to me. The GofG shot is nice, but looks a wee bit dark and could use a contrast boost.

I wish my day at the office looked like that

I really like the first one a lot. I am thinking of a name entitled "Two Paths." It is converging then diverging which makes it visually interesting.

I would agree with Todd. I really like the first cascade shot! Pretty rough day.

I saw you in the garden this morning. I drove by in a silver Jeep Rubicon on 33" tires. You were just putting your gear back into your toyota. I got there too late for the moonset too. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll get out of bed earlier.

First shot is really spectacular. Composition is spot on on that one. Thanks for sharing!

James, I also really like the first photo. It has great balance between the detail in the rock and smoothness of the flowing water. The composition also has a nice flowing pattern. With this photo, it think the lack of saturated colors or high contrast is a real benefit to the image, keeping it simple so the focus of the elements of form and texture really stand out. Very well done!

The second photo doesn't incorporate these particular elements, so that's why it doesn't work for me like the first.

I like that first one also. Is that Cheyenne Canyon? The second one is cropped in too tightly.

Nice days work!
