Rodeo Cove Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin Headlands.
MkV because the obsession that I have with this beach has made me come back to it more times than I would like to count and this is the 5th 'publishable' session.
I have been keeping an eye on this beach since I arrived in July, watching the storms wash away the sand and waiting for a good combination of tide and sky. This has led to 'chasing the tide' over the last week or so as we have had some nice skyes and no fog.
One of the most interesting things has been the 'people watching', since last wednesday I have shot alone and with 6 other photographers... next time we should bring some beers and a BBQ along ;-)
Canon EOS 1Ds / EF24-70mm f2.8 USM @ 24mm / 8s f16 ISO100 / tripod + cable release / 3 stop reverse NDG filter / crop to pano format
Breath takingly beautiful! - I wish I could have been there, but will keep it on my list of places to visit - as I am wanting to explore the Marin Headlands before the hawk migration

Enrique - I really like this photo. Great colors. I would love to get out there to see this place.

Enrique,
The water has an interesting texture; I almost feel as though I could walk on it.
BTW, being exiled in SF is not a bad way to go ;^)
Funny, I looked at the photo thinking it was one of Anil's and going: Wow! he's actually moving in a direction that makes sense in his new series, but wow, it's unusually saturated and non-subdued :)
It is very nice!
It definitely makes me want to go on the coast and try this effect for myself so I can bagone of mine.

The color palette is very nice here Enrique as well as the cloud formations in the sky.
A bit over saturated, but that depends on individual taste. I liked rocks and water as compared to sky. Sky is bit darker to me. May be 2 STOP GND would have been more appropriate.
Thanks for sharing. Would love to visit this place.
