Carduelis chloris
A bird I've not had many opportunities to photograph, but I'm pleased with this albeit slightly big in the frame, and a square crop. There wa s aload of distracting twigs that were coming into the frame from nowhere, so I chopped it. BG blobs are pine cones... they get everywhere!!

Thanks for any comments

great shot with a lovely perch, seems a tiny bit over saturated but probably just my monitor

Great shot! Aturation looks fine over here. The only thing i would do is clone out that orange spot in front of the bird as in this case they are not recognisable as pine cones.
Well done!

beautiful work as ever, and for once I don't want to see more space around the bird (alright, maybe just a bit more top perhaps  )

You've really started to corner the niche in this kind of shot!

Hi Graeme

Excellent image. Doesn't need more space IMO and agree with Jeroen about cloning out the orange spot.
