Wild Blooms
Stepping back to last Spring, this shot was taken at Ernie Miller Park in Olathe, KS. With record setting lows over the next several days (and everything in bloom already), I suspect that blooms like these are going to be short-lived in my area. :frown:

That's a pretty flower Wayne. I like the composition.

Wayne - the light is really nice in this image. It's very soft and quite nice - it shows the nice details in the flower. BTW - it's snowing as I type this.

Nice picture Wayne. I do hope this cold weather goes away as quick as it showed up. It sure has put a crimp in my flower photography.

Beautiful work, Wayne. I like the soft color, sharp detail, and I'll ditto Tim on the light - very nice. What a crazy spring this has been!

Nicely captured. is this a crop or close to a full frame image?

this would make a great 20x20 :toast:

Thanks everyone! Darren, this is definitely a crop, shot with a Canon 10D. Since it's so close to square, I actually thought about taking it there. I haven't printed one yet but that may happen this weekend. Thanks for your comments! :wavey:
