A lovely portrait Andy. A tiny bit more depth of field might be nice as the tail does loose a bit of sharpness but everything else is very sharp. I think its just the pose but it feels like he's about to fall to the right - maybe its just me but i prefer it rotated just a few degrees anti-clockwise

Very nice. Agree with the strange pose, but it's good you can sort it out using a bit of CCW rotation. I have some strange poses that nothing will help with, so they're binners really

Possibly a bit more rom on the left. but I can hardly talk about composition as you can see by my latest postings

Nice on the whole :toast:

Nice one, the repost feels better, nice light and good exposure = good detail, the OOF tail is not a problem for me as the eye appears to be sharp..

I like the repost much more. Looks more naturally balanced, but going into the realms or horizontal perches which a lot of people don't like. It doesn't bother me personally, but I can sometimes see their angle. To make this the perfect shot, the space on the left is still inadequate for me. You could try adding some canvas to it, but the perch elongation can be where it's hard to do as I've found out.

Still a great quality image as I said before Andy, and I'm being really picky here :toast:
