Desert Springtime
I wish we had received as much rainfall this year as in the past when I captured this image in Anza Borrego State Park. Thank you in advance for your comments.

I'm all over this one, Paul. I think the comp. is even more well balanced that your ESS image. The Cholla really has some life in this one. Nice work.

Excellent Paul. My mom has a shot similar to this from 05. I wish I had taken it.

Very beautiful, Paul. I love the arrangement of rocks and the colorful flowers. There is a nice harmony about the whole image.

Winter's not over yet! I can't believe socal has received 2.5" of rain this season. It's enough to 'cause most to wonder what the bigger picture entails. I remeber in the el nino year of 97/98 the mojave desert was carpeted with wild flowers. Something I'll never forget. Similar to this scene you've presented Paul. Which has quite a range of flora on dispaly between those course rocks!

Thanks everyone.
Richard, I do think this was 2005. Only 2 years back now and the rain count is not even close these days from any previous years.
