I'd say there's 1 to 2 inches of snow on my front porch, and supposed to flurry all day.

The news reported this morning the Bluefield had 7 inches....thats more that anyone got all winter....what is going on? I guess luckily we haven't see any of the white stuff here.
Newfound Gap road in GSMNP was closed until around 11 AM and then opened only to vehicles with chains or 4 wheel drive. We went up and there was probably a couple of inches of snow on top. Looked great but the temperature was 14 and the wind around 20 mph. It was cold. Finally opened to all vehicles after they salted and sanded around noon.

Same thing happened here! During the winter it was mostly on the GrandFather Mtn side of the Blue Ridge Parkway but this time it dumped on the Linville side too!
