Bridal Veil Creek flowing away from me towards the footbridge crossing to Bridal Veil Falls.. The wonderful light in the distance illuminating the trees caught my attention and as I composed, I really liked the color of the foreground water in front of me.

Hey a classic PNW scene well captured Ned!! I actually like the down river view which is opposite the usual/expected photographic view of up river.

As usual your technicals are spot on Ned and I'm liking this image very much! Well done my friend.

Not so much feeling it Ned. The foreground looks a bit empty to me.

I honestly have never been to Bridal Veil falls......this gives me incentive to head up there....

I think this image would be stronger if cropped about square just under the mossy green rock in the foreground!

I like the comp!!!

the light is magical in this image, Ned. The chopped off tree in BG is a little weird; too bad about that.... But overall I really like this and see your signature comp all over this one.

I agree, Ned. The soft foreground light on the water really makes it for me. Well done.

This is great, Ned, I love the lead in to the bridge and then exploring the rest of it. It's not a nit because you can't do anything about it but that bent over tree is sort of a bummer. I might be tempted to clone it out.

this reminds me i really want to hit upper bridal veil falls, I'm not sure if there is a middle bridal veil, anyone know anything about bushwhacking up this creek?

Great light!
