Location, location, location...

I'm fairly new to NPN and am thoroughly enjoying and benefitting from seeing everyone's work and reading/making comments. I'd like to make one suggestion though. When an image is posted, could the maker please indicate the complete location. i.e. Adirondack Mts., upstate NY as opposed to just Adirondack Mts.
I'm not sure that everyone outside NY would know where the Adirondacks are, just as I, in NY, don't always know where other places are.

Hi Linda, welcome to NPN. Good suggestion - I must admit to being one of the lazy ones in this regard. Will try to do better.

That's a great idea. I have an idea for Jim, is to put a box inside the reply box marked location to remind us to put down the location. ie: LOCATION:_____________State:_______________

Good idea. I notice sometimes a poster will say "this is what locations were here yesterday..." but I have no idea where "here" is. Of course some don't want to reveal exact locations, but a general area and state would be great!

Welcome board! Excellent idea, but maybe we should carry it a bit farther since we're an international group. Not everyone would even know where upstate New York is, so including the country might be helpful as well.
