I just had to deliver some coffee to a spot in the Lower Hood River Valley and I want to tell you blossom fans that you should not be sitting home wondering what to do for these next few weeks. It's not fully awesome right now but it's pretty dang nice. I think the Blossom Fest is next weekend and the Lower Valley will be in fine shape. I haven't been to the Upper Valley but it's usually a week or two later than the Lower Valley.

Also, I haven't seen it myself but people have told me that the Balsamroot is going off out at the Dalles Hills and Rowena.

Don't delay.

The afternoons this week are looking good. Rain is forecast for Friday. Anyone should give me a call, I need to go out.

Mark,
I'm up for heading out there tomorrow maybe...after work. If not then...then Thursday eve will work for me. I hope the lupine are up and alive as well...

I'll bet it's too early for the Lupine. If the Balsamroot just came out, we have two weeks at least before seeing any great expanses of Lupine.

I'm free tomorrow afternoon.

Might force Rick to allow me to attend....

OK...didn't make it to the gorge today (sick with bad cold, and STILL at work)...but how about Thursday afternoon? We can jam out there after work and catch a sunset comp...

If weather turns favorable, I'll be heading into Hood River on Thursday afternoon as well....
