I am using lightroom on one a pc with internet connection and it works fine . But i also have another pc without internet connection and i just use this for storage etc. I wish to install lightroom on the storage pc also and have tried several times . It will load up fine and i can use lightroom but i cant get the full version to work corectly. I am using the right ser number given to me but it just seems to work in trial mode only. I am not too well up on pc technicalities and i was hoping someone could maybee give me a few tips.
Regards . Matt

Matt, you need to call Adobe and register your copy over the phone. I'm sure they can tell you how to enable it.

By the way I think the license allows you to run on one PC and one laptop, but I'm not sure.

Thanks guy. But i have registered it and it works fine on the pc that has internet access. But when i copy the very same programme on to my other pc it is only working in part mode. For instance when i scan my images and delete the bad ones it will delete on the first pc but will not delete on the pc without internet conectivity. It may be something really easy that im missing here but it looks like i can only use the full version on a pc with internet conection.
Regards Matt.

If you are on a network with your other PC, this may be your problem. You only have 1 license, and I believe you will not be able to install it on another computer that is on the same network. Now, you can transfer the code, but remember, you will only be allowed to run 1 computer at a time. It will not run properly with both versions open on different computers.

Matt, I think Adobe software will attempt to access Adobe's site to activate the registration. This is a mechanism to prevent stolen serial numbers from being used infinite times. If your license allows you to legitimately use the software on more than one PC, then Adobe should be able to tell you how to activate it without network connectivity. I'm sure a quick call to their technical support folks will resolve this.

You may want to read the license terms first though. If you're only licensed to use it on one computer they will likely not be willing to help.

OK guys thanks for your help. I think you have solved the problem for me. When i first registred it on the pc i had to get the code registred and it worked fine. Now when i tried to install it on the second pc and was asked to register it i couldnt because i didnt have internet access to confirm it so i think thats the problem. Sorry to take your time for something that should have been obvious to me in the first place.lol.
