20D, 180/3.5, ISO200, 1/100 @ f10, handheld, C1Pro + CS2.

Hi,

Spent some time on Monday with a trio of Grass Snakes, one male adult and two male sub-adults, this is a close up portrait of the Adult...... full frame apart from a slight crop from both sides to A4, and a first for me, handheld, with elbows providing support on the ground....

All the best

A superb portrait Phil. I love the dynamic composition and the motion blur in that flicking tongue. Great bg too. :toast: :toast: :toast:
