Essence of Spring
Hi Guys,

This week i have been occupied with work and have hardly had any time to go out and shoot. Still i had been observing a couple of Great crested Grebes on a nest near my home recently and now the eggs have hatched and family life has started for them. So i decided i could spare half an hour and went over to the Grebes to take some couple of hundreds shots.

Here's one that i really liked.

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Lovely shot of family life, you've done well keeping everything in focus at that focal length and at f5. I love the colours you've captured. The image looks to me to be going slightly uphill from left to right although that's a very minor nit.

Best wishes & thanks for sharing.

Superb image Jeroen. I too think a bit of CW rotation would level it up. Love the crop and composition and the shooting angle and light all go together to make this a lovely image. Must get away from my feeders and find what our Grebes are up to

Outstanding again! You are well ahead of where I live in North Yorkshire where the local grebes have just started sitting.
