This was a fun outing for me to Joshua Tree National Park. I had not been there in almost a year. It is almost a 2 hour drive for me to be there for sunrise and setup properly. I left at 0415 and beat most of the So Cal commuters these days treking out to the lower desert for work. This image was captured near one of the many rock formations within the park boudaries. Thank you in advance for your comments.

The light is just plain gorgeous. I love your composition too. To me, this apprears to be a difficult place to photograph and I think you did a swell job.
Anil, I have taken many shots in JTNP over the years, most have never made it beyond my file cabinet. I have a really hard time getting compositions I really like out there, entirely my fault too. There are a lot of fantastic sites in the park, I just never seem to be in the right place at the right time, until this image. Thank you for your comment.
