lightroom and two pc/s still not working

Further to my earlier question im afraid im still having difficulty with this programme. As i posted earlier it will work fine on the pc connected to the internet but when i copy it over to the static pc with no internet conection it only works in tryout mode. I even tried conecting this pc to the net for soley the purpose of registering it with adobe ,but it still wont work in full mode. I have tried logging in as administrator and deleting the ser number as posted on the help forum but this wont work either . I have tried uninstalling several times and it still wont work. When i copy it to the other hd and check the registration details they are all showing fine. As im in the uk its a would be considerable cost to phone adobe help but i cant seem to find and straight answers to how i can do this. I am also having difficulties adding it as new software on the second pc. Please can anyone help me with this. My files are mounting up .lol.

Matt, I still think a quick call to Adobe technical support will save you a lot of frustration.

Matt, This may seem like a dumb question, but are you using Windows XP, Pack 2 on the computer that Lightroom won't work on? I don't think it works on anything earlier.
