Just back from three days shooting waterfalls and rainforests on the N. Umpqua, Silver Falls St. Park and Columbia Gorge. I haven't had a chance to work on much yet, but I think I have a few worth getting feedback from y'all on.
FYI - the trail to Toketee Falls on the N. Umpqua is closed for an unknown length of time. Rockfall or something.
Side note - being the half-wit that I am I dropped my 5D and two lenses (including my 70-200 f/2.8 L) out of my backpack onto bare pavement. Everything still works and barely has a scratch. Luckier than I deserve.
I took this shot in the forest somewhere in Siver Falls SP.
I know that tree. I've shot it in fact. It demands attention doesn't it? How's the water flow and foilage around silver falls?
That big rock at Toketee Falls came down last November I think I remember, like the week before I went there. I've not heard if or when they plan to fix it.
Is this trail closure at Toketee before the boardwalks and stairs to the viewpoint? Its been a long time since I've been there and I don't remember the trail all that well. I'm hoping it'll be accessible enough in June when I plan on being in the area...

Bryan - the trail is closed right at the parking lot. I didn't venture down to see where the issue was.
