The area I live seems to have good numbers of bullfinch's, they seem to travel in pairs and small flocks.
Cheers now

I remember seeing large flocks of these, when i lived in somerset. We lived on a fruit farm, it drove my dad nuts as they love buds of fruit trees.
Nice shot, i like the contrast with the background.

We had good flocks of these a few years ago but recently they have seemed to be fewer around.

They can be a pest in fruit growing areas, but it is still a beautiful bird. The world would be a poorer place without them. Very nice composition.

Very Nice... a bit of a head turn towards the camera would have been nice, not a bird we see much of down here......

Hi Tim
A bit of a head turn and different perch maybe, that said quite a difficult bird now in the UK and I love the light and BG!

I agree - nice graduated background. Pity it's head isn't quite turned towards us.
Still, better than any bullfinch shots I have though.

Headturn would have improved this IMO, but nonetheless a really nice shot of a bird I never seen down here

Hi Tim
Nicely done. Lovely light and colour, good perch too. Maybe a bit too much space above the bird for my taste but a minor nit. Overall excellent shot.
cheers
