Hi,

Couldn't resist a few images of this Coot chick on Saturday morning, there are a few faults but I still like it... wished for a lower angle, that I hadn't been forced to clip the foot and for a tad more DoF, but I was at my limit for effectively handholding...

All the best

Phil

What a hairdo! Rock on the punk coots, is all this colour saying "feed this bit" do you reckon. I like the despite your reservations. A parents eye view of its sprog.

Nice shot, but moorhen and coot chicks are probably the most ugly in the world. Which i odd as grebe chicks are very cute...

Hi Phil

You have already identified the minor nit but a smashing shot all the same!

It's novelty value outweighs the nits. A really nice shot.
